Lucy and John here. We wanted to create this blog as a place for everyone in Voiceover and the Creative Arts to hang out, learn, share and grow.
Our Aim
We want to give you our thoughts as well as those of guest writers at the top of their game. We will chat all things business, creativity, career secrets and growth.
We also want this to be a safe space and particular attention will be spent on finding ways to look after everyone's' mental health within the creative arts and advertising industries.
Why Are We Doing This?
So often in this industry there is a sense of competition and a view that financial success in the career is the most important thing. However, from experience, it's the people we've met while working and the friends that we've made along the way that has been the most rewarding.
We need to shift away from a scarcity mindset and remember that there is enough for everyone. By sharing our experiences, giving advice to those starting out and looking after each other, it can only make the career a much healthier and safer place for us all.
Our dream is that this blog becomes a space where people can come to be inspired, cheered up, to connect with like minded people, and to build a community that exists beyond salary, prestige and IMDb credits.
